With AI’s new and pronounced position in our self-expressions, I’ve become dedicated to teaching the importance of honoring and valuing one’s authentic self alongside some self-empowering and essential life skills to youngsters. Next to my roles as an educator and a Girl Scout troop co-leader, emerges my new passion for creating content geared toward helping young people navigate this complicated planet. It all started as a book to help my eldest understand the importance of manners in communication. Now, I’ve made it my mission to use children’s books to empower children and guide them through new ordinaries like screen time and corn syrup.

What was once “one book about manners” has evolved into an entire series I look forward to expanding.

The series is called: Maria’s Magical Milestones: A new fairy tale series to empower children with essential skill sets geared toward success. Maria is facing a challenging period in her life: childhood. There’s so many milestones to reach such as: self-awareness, situational awareness, social skills and financial intelligence. Readers can find guidance and problem-solving strategies through Maria’s adventures and magical experiences. The series uses narrative to breakdown essentials like budgeting and manners so that each reader will be captivated while finding guidance.
